How to 360 on Skis

Do Your Research

Plan! Planning is essential to a fun, successful ride. Whether you're finding new trails or just looking for a new loop, planning before you ride is something every rider should be doing. There are endless factors to mountain bike planning, but it shouldn't be hard. Here I'll show you how to plan and best methods.

Where

Find where you want to go. Maybe its somewhere new, or a trail at the bottom of the park you haven't explored yet. Either way, its the same process. Find where you want to go and how to get there. Find out the best parking areas or if you have to bike a road to get there.

If you're stuck and can't find a new trail, look online for blogs or forums to help you decide. A blog like this one is a great way to find new trails around you and meet new people. Alternatively, you can do a quick google search and find trails near you. For me, looking at pictures is a great way to find new trails that I want to ride.

When

Find a good time to bike. Factors that influence this are weather and your own schedule. Also account for the amount of time it will take you to bike, including the drive.

Preparation

Plan and prepare for your trip. Download maps and other information you may need using a mountain biking app. Plan food, transportation, and collaborate with your mountain bike buddies. Charge your camera and pull out your gear.
